I have recently been through treatment….?

Question by yvkujhbkuyb: I have recently been through treatment….?
And I have yet to relapse, but everyone is afraid that I have or I am going to. Including me, I guess. I’ll be going back to college this semester, and obviously, pills, cocaine, and alcohol are all over the place. I am not religious and I don’t believe in the twelve steps.
How did you handle the pressure? My body is in rough shape, what if I relapse?
I’d like to hear about your or someone you know’s experience with rehab and the after effects. I know my friends and family are having a hard time with this.
I’m living with my shrink’s friend, and he takes me to AA meetings. But most of the people there talk about their relationship with god and how it saved them, and i guess I can’t relate. The meetings do nothing for me.

1. you can’t do this alone, have been to an DA or an AA
meeting at all?
2.Even if you don’t believe in the 12 steps, it would be a great place for you to meet people with the same problems and hear their takes on their situations
3. you’d always have someone to catch you before you fall.
4.Get your parents and friends to go to AL-NON meetings to, it teach them not to worry you so much that you slid, it will also show them how strong and capable you’ve become ,you’ve enabled yourself to fight and hold at bay your addictions, and for that you should be extremely proud.
Good luck,
God Bless
