It’s now 1:30pm Monday. I smoked a lot of meth Sunday from about 3am to 11am. I’m not a regular user, the last time before this recent time was over a year ago. This time though I used a lot and I’m experiencing a lot of overdose symptoms. is it possible for me to die right now even though i haven’t used in over 24 hours? Is the process of meth overdose a days-long process?

I have been to several rehabs- I know what needs to be done, but I can’t seem to follow through with anything. Please help me if you know of any websites, etc. to support my recovery. Any advice is welcome. I am to the point where I can’t live with the drugs, and I can’t live without them. HELP!!!!

possible that what he is hearing is actually real? He claims he is not hallucinating it, but has super sonic hearing when he is on it.
He’s a really good guy, but doesn’t have insurance to go to Rehab. Any suggestions?

I’m a 19 year old female who smoked meth for the fist tme 4 days ago. I smoked way more than I should have. The morning after it happened I ended up in the ER due to an extremely fast heart beat, high blood pressure, difficulty breathing and chest pain. I stayed in the ER for 2 days and just got home yesterday and am still having all the same symptoms. I’m scared that I mght have overdosed and am going to have serious problems and I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to go back to the ER because they will probally just send me home after dong a few tests and what not. Oh yeah and how long does t take to die from a meth overdose? Could it be possible for me to get a heart attack or have liver damage after four days and ths being my frst time of using meth?

This is for my brother who is going to come up for hearing sometime soon(date has not yet been set).
I need a good in-house drug rehab faccility for him to go to to keep him clean and safe before his court date.
I’m not sure but we beleive he’s doing weed, speed, ice, and maybe meth.
And somethign more strict would be better in order to keep him in place.
I would greatly appreciate any reccomendations i get.

I am a children’s social worker in Orange County California and the great majority of my clients are drug addicts…mostly meth. Basically, we came in and were forced to remove their children from their care in order to protect the children. Their meth addiction led to a horrible deterioration of their lives, placing their kids at great risk.
About 90% of my clients are parents who must overcome their addiction and stay clean from drugs in order reunify with their children.
Do you have any tips in order to say clean?

Also, with meth, are there ways to detect meth use, other than formication (speed bumps), rapid speech, positive drug tests and decaying teeth?

Im also intersted in any random and informative info on meth that you might have to offer.

It’s my Dad…Now my Dad has done drugs since his late teen years, He’s now 50….Recently he hurt his back so he’s been off work, So I think he has maybe started doing more….He has always smoked weed, and snorted cocaine…But recently we have found foil where he keeps his drugs, so I was thinking he’s been doing a little somethin’ somethin’ else if you know what I mean….But we haven’t seen the foil lately….So I was thinking he might be having withdrawls…I’ve looked online everywhere tryin’ to narrow it down…So far it sounds like Meth, because my Dad likes the rush that drugs give you, not the kind that will slow ya down like heroin…He dosen’t think me and my sisters know about his drug use other than the weed..so he just claims he’s sick with the flu or something…But he won’t let me take him to the doctor, he dosen’t like doctors just like nobody else does so he rarely goes unless he really needs to because he’s really not feeling well..But to be feeling as bad as he says you’d think he’d go…Anyway here’s the symptoms he has…And please don’t report this, I’m very serious about this….I need to know whether this is just withdrawls or if he’s really, really ill…

Drinking alot of water, I’ve never seen anyone drink as much as I’ve seen him

Seeing Spot, he says he’s seeing spots like when you come inside after it being really bright outside.

I had 2 very very very close family members and my only brother in law start meth all within the same year and the 2 close family members stopped on their own without 3rd party help and my brother in law left rehab after 2 months but has learned alot and has stopped meth, cigarettes and even liquor i’m just wondering what we can do as a family to keep everyone sober, hope your answers help, this is the happiest we have ever been and i want it to keep it that way especially for the kids!!
