Questions about recovering from Oxycontin and fentanyl addiction.?

Question by LostinLA: Questions about recovering from Oxycontin and fentanyl addiction.?
I am going to be helping my sister through recovery to her addiction to Oxycontin. I have read some articles about how Oxy withdrawals are similar to Heroine withdrawals and can be dangerous. We don’t have the money for a professional detox or rehab center but she is ready to quit and she asked for my help. I just want to be able to help her as much as I can and I just need some advise on how to this.

I know about imodium for diarrhea, Ibprofen to help with the pain, I understand she will have insomnia, severe muscle cramps, flu like symptoms and pain. I also understand she will go through mood swings and depression along with cravings. Any other pointers or ideas would be appreciated.

I know this is a huge undertaking but when you don’t have insurance or money for medical help what else can you do except try.

Lock her in a room, give her a copy of Bob Marley’s Legend album and suggest she masturbates as often as possible.
I’m really not joking!
