The problem is that acouple years back my husband got busted with a little bag of cocaine(mainly the residue) and had to pay these huge fines and was on probation…will this affect us in any way if one day we plan to adopt…will we be denied because of this??? His probation is over and he has also completed drug counseling the court requested…The drugs werent even his but they were found in his car so ofcourse he was responsible for them..anyway, weve been trying to conceive for about 7 months now and nothing…so adoption is something i might want to do. will we be able to?

keep trying to concieve..usually doctors tell you to try for up to 1 year under the age 35 and 6 mths over the age of 35. I’m not exactally for sure about adoption since i never have but I do knw that they have a background check and social workers come to your house to make sure that it is sutable for a child to live in…including both of your reactions to each other.
