The former occupants of an apartment were meth users, what are the risks of moving in after they’ve left?

Question by lucytoo55: The former occupants of an apartment were meth users, what are the risks of moving in after they’ve left?
My husband and I live in a duplex. The other occupants recently moved out. We decided to move to their apartment because it is bigger. The landlord was painting it this week so we went over and he told us the former occupants were meth addicts and used needles. My husband and I are concerned about potential health problems and risks of moving into the apartment.

We are pretty sure that It was not a meth lab

Unless they left behind needles, pipes or rocks (ha, doubt they would leave any drugs behind…) you should be ok.

I mean, do you even realize what people do in hotel rooms you have stayed at? LOL!
