Sex offender a community menace: protesters
Protesters from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside gathered outside a provincial court building Friday to protest the possible release of a convicted sex offender.

S.O.D. Task Force Units Booked 25 Persons Last Week
In one week’s time the Special Operations Division (S.O.D) Task Force Unit investigated 84 complaints, yielding 25 arrests for 15 Felonies, 17 Misdemeanors and 2 Municipal violations. Officers made 4 Traffic arrests, 1 Narcotic case and conducted 138 Wanted Checks.
