My daughter is 23 and I hear her talking about buy percocets 10 & oxycontin 40’s My husband & I had her Dr send her to a pain specialist he dismissed her for finding THC twice in her system I know she has pain she has a rod in her back to realign her spine but I’m so afraid for her when she has pain pills she happy and out going when she doesn’t she starts talking about suicide and how she no good and things of this nature I don’t know what to do we’ve tried detox we’ve tried everything my husband even went out on a limb for her and had a Dr in his office treat her for the pain but he too told us tonight over dinner he’s dimissing her because of the use of marijuana and to my dismay he found meth also I’m at my witts end plz I need some advice
No she doesn’t live with us we got her a place accross from us The only 1 in the family that had a drug problem was Myself been clean 12yrs
her pain is actual physical pain(spinal bifda) I meant to answer that a second ago I talk to my husband about the Dr.suglia answer he said he could do that he told me it’s basiclly what the Dr had said 24hr involuntary comtiment Lord if you pray plz pray for her my daughters name is Victoria

You can try looking into having her involuntarily committed. That is when the public services pick her up and TAKE her to the psychiatric unit of a hospital to be evaluated. Even though, they can only hold her for 24 hours against her will, it may be just what she needs for a wake-up call.
