Question by confused4life20: How do I ask my neighbor to to turn his light off in his house that keeps me up all night.?
I just moved into a new neighborhood. The houses are kinda close together and my window faces the neighbors house. The are working on renovating their house and adding on I believe. How do I politely ask my neighbors to turn their light in a room that they leave on all the time off. The also have a baby.

Some alternative suggestions have been to put up aluminum foil on the windows, but I really don’t wanna look like a crack or meth addict.

Meet them while one of them is walking their dog, and start to talk. Maybe note the arrangement of your two houses.Then slowly get around to mentioning the light. And hopefully they won’t get their noses out of joint.
