My girlfriend has been to a 30 day rehabilitation center for Percocets and has successfully been detoxed and has stopped using them, but now she has become addicted to Adderall instead. She’s become so mean and even psychotic at times. I’ve created a list of local NA meetings we can attend but she doesn’t seem to have much interest. I’m almost ready to leave her forever. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Adderall addiction is actually really similar to meth addiction. But If she doesn’t want to get help, then it’s not possible for her to get better. She has to cooperate. Try talking to her (if you havn’t already) about how it hurts you. And how it’s hurting her family and friends. And what damage it can do to her body, emotions, and mind. And how much just a little pill can change her life forever. This is a tough situation, but if she understands what her addiction is doing to you and accepts the help, then maybe you don’t have to leave her forever. Good luck.
