Question by Holy..cow!: Group living homes? Anyone have any experience in the biz?
Does anyone have experience starting or managing a group living home? I am assessing whether or not starting a sober living (or half way) house is a good investment. I live in an area where there is a demand. Primarily my interest is to help people get off the streets, but before I take the big plung into the project, I need to know that it can be profitable.

it is unlikely that you will be paid regularly by the tenants.

why not, instead become a volunteer and help out your
church find housing for those people.

I have never seen a drunk stay sober. NEVER.
