Gah, cerebral palsy problem T_T?
Question by pianoweird: Gah, cerebral palsy problem T_T?
I’m 17 and I have cerebral palsy. It’s not severe but I sorta have a gait walk, er, my left leg is the cause of the gait. I had surgery when I was younger but only my right leg seemed to be corrected so I limp when I walk.
It’s not so bad, I mean, it could be much worse, but I get tired if I have to walk for so long or stand for a certain amount of time.
Problem I am having: I am tempted to look into a handicap license/sign but I um…. don’t want people to think I’m lazy… and since I’m only 17 and healthy looking, I don’t want sinister looks when I park at a handicap parking space.
But having to walk so far at times really wears me out. I have to sit constantly. T_T
I’m having surgery soon so I know I might need a temporary one, but should I look into a permanent one as long as I don’t “abuse” the luxury given to me? ._.

i wish more people had your attitude..
you want the placard asa needed but don’t want to abuse it if you don’t need it–which is great
many people only ned teh accessibel space soemtimes–like in very large lots or if there are no non accessible spaces nearby–or when they are having a bad day
but many people with milder disabilities –ALWAYS use the accessible spot when there is a standard spot 2 spaces away—
i onlyt use the accessible spot if i am using a chair –or i honetsly don’t feel comfortabel using a standard space for any reason–which is rare–as there are usually standard spaces nearby….
ignore princess–she is applyfor for SSi baased on her mental problems–
shes not studpid–so i can’t understand why she can’t understand that i am supportive of you and your intentions–getting the placard and using it as needed….
