Question by dirtystevie: Can I use a Dell Windows XP cd to get into recovery console on a non Dell computer?
The Dell disc is XP Pro, but the installation on the other computer is media center? Does that matter? I just need to run the fixmbr command.

It’s not a Dell Windows XP cd, its just Windows XP, the fact that it has Dell stuff on it is the image that they created and put on ur PC.
