Question by Dr. D: what are the steps to sell a new alcoholic drink?
We are working on a formula for a new alcoholic drink, what do we need to have it sold in stores, bars, clubs, etc… any requirements? licenses? etc? any help will be appreciated!

First, in order to accomplish what you’re thinking , It’s highly unlikely you’ll succeed unless your last name is Seagrams or something like that.

Most drinks and their names emerge through many tries in a local bar.If it appeals to enough folks.the drink get a name and you receive your 15 minutes of recognition. This development process is fraught with a myriad of dangers. Not the least of them is alcoholism.

The most you can expect to get for your efforts is local recognition.I’ve never heard of anyone living off of royalties or residuals for their work inventing a drink.
