Question by Respect46: How would you address a friend with a drinking problem?
I had a friend visit me and he has a drinking problem. His judgment is obviously impaired after his 17th beer. I didn’t say anything negative and I made him feel comfortable with his stay. I know that he could control himself if he wanted to. I made him walk 5 miles in hilly terrain earlier because I knew he would get hammered tonight. I suggested that he should prepare for a slight change but he said ”no I plan on drinking heavy until the end”. Well at least I tried…..
