HONORS 33rd ANNIVERSARY OF THE COMMUNITY FOR CREATIVE NON-VIOLENCE

MERCURY BOY blends his exceptional musical talents with his passion for social harmony as he performs in honor of the 33rd Anniversary of the Community for Creative Non-Violence Shelter Benefit in Washington D.C. This all day festival takes place Saturday July 26th from 9am to 9pm at the CCNV located on 425 Mitch Synder Place (2nd and D Streets NW). MERCURY BOY is scheduled to deliver his spirited pop rock performance at 3:30pm.
The CCNV is a non profit organization that has been serving the D.C. community for over 30 years. In addition to food and shelter, they have several on-site service providers who make available medical care, dental care, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, education and cultural activities. CCNV’s Mission is to ensure that the rights of the homeless and poor are not infringed upon and that every person has access to life’s basic essentials.
Bands such as the Foo Fighters, Eve 6 and The Cars have influenced MERCURY BOY. Presently, he is promoting his recently released debut EP, Get it Goin (Jafzi Records).
