A kid who lived near me ratted me out once he got caught by police. He was found with 4+ ounces, drug paraphanalia, and a cuple pills of adderall. He was charged with 2 counts felony attempt to distribute, I was charged with possession with intent to distribute, 2 counts felony of a controlled substance, 2 felony counts of a communication device, and 1 paraphanalia misdemeanor. His plea was 2 misdemeanor possesions and a misdemeanor paraphanalia. My charges were 1 felont count posession with intent to distibute, and 1 felony count possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia ( 2 felony charges, 1 misdemeanor) they found one scale and 120 grams of marijuana.
During my magisterial justice hearing, the officer, assistant district attorney, my attorney Tom Dckey and i signed off on a plea agreement to reduce the charges to a 2 misdemeanor possessions and 1 paraphernalia misdemeanor. Now the district attorney has rejected the plea. What should i do? Is the original plea agreement binding? Do we ask the judge to honor the agreement? Do i consult another attorney for more help or co -counsel if moving to trial? Does switching lawyers affect my original plea?

I am 20 years old white male. Also was arrested in Blair County at PSU Altoona. I am especially nervous because i have been doing all the right things, staying clean, attended intensive outpatient rehab for 36 hours and was reduced to outpatient. Instead of continuing outpatient i receive free counseling from my school. I attend NA meeting every friday and have attended over 50 meetings. I have a sponsor and attending a community college taking 5 courses for fall 2010. I have worked all summer at a fence company, now i am working for a restaurant. I need some advice because i am very depressed and have high anxiety along with this whole process. Am i doing the right thing? What more can I do to help me stay out of jail?

I recently just switch lawyers, to a firm out of Penn State Main campus Masrti & Sullivn about 30 minutes away from Altoona. The reason i switched was because Dicky was not communicating with me whatsoever. His secretaries were lying about scheduled meetings, and everytime i tried to reach him he would never answer. He seemed very unprofessional, and was a bad communicator from the getgo.
