ABC PLEASE HELP THE BIGU FAMILY

Check out our Facebook Group: www.facebook.com In March 2010, a tragedy befell Daniel Bigu while on a missions trip with many other young people in the Dominican Republic. On Monday March 15, we received news that he fell 3 stories at the resort they were staying at. He and 6 other students were on the balcony when Danny leaned up against the railing to toss a rock at a key stuck in a palm tree, when the railing gave way. He broke his back and had a 13 hour surgery on Tuesday, March 16. His family was able to fly out and be with him. Through all this, Daniel maintains a positive spirit. He is accepting what has happened, but is asking for all to pray that he will be able to walk again. Daniel was able to fly back to Ontario on March 19, after which he endured months of healing through various hospitals and rehab centers. In September, Daniel was finally able to permanently move home to his parents’ house in Kitchener. However, there are still many challenges ahead: His current home is far from easily accessible, and Daniel’s parents are in pursuit of a house more suitable to their son’s condition.
