What do you think when people who say, “It’s natural, therefore, it’s okay.”?

Question by Jackal: What do you think when people who say, “It’s natural, therefore, it’s okay.”?
I’ve heard plenty of people use “it’s natural” as their argument. I don’t think “nature” is a guideline for morality or safety. Let me explain:

There are two examples of “natural” that people use to legitimize their actions:

1) Nature

Weed is harmless! It’s perfectly natural!
Could you smoke poison ivy harmlessly? After all, it’s perfectly natural.

2) Human Nature

Teenage sex is a perfectly natural thing.
Does that make it harmless? It is a perfectly natural and instinctive thing for animals to kill another animal for something they want/need. Does that make it okay?

Homosexuality is not natural, and so it is morally wrong.
It is not natural for me to park my car in a boat shed. It is not natural for me to put my shoes on the wrong feet. Does that make them morally wrong acts? Or does it just make them wrong acts?

What do you think of this? Do you think that arguing that something is “natural” has anything relevant to whether or not it is moral or safe?
