‘Sting’ operation July 9 nabs six violators
An alcohol “sting” operation July 9 in Henry County resulted in six businesses being charged with selling alcohol to under-age purchasers. A sting operation is a maneuver in which a minor is sent in to off-sale establishments (businesses which sell carry-out alcoholic beverages) in an attempt to purchase alcohol.
