Just moved into a new house, and found this bottle filled with a dark green colored liquid that smokes?
We just moved into a new house, and when we were checking out the basement, we discovered a plastic spray bottle that is filled with a dark greenish colored liquid. When we opened the bottle, we noticed that smoke started to come out. We would squeeze the bottle and smoke would continue to come out. Once sealing the bottle again, the smoke was not inside the bottle, it only smokes when the stuff is exposed to air. Some of my friends are saying that it could be anhydrous, which I think is used to make meth. We asked a police officer about it and showed him, but he didn’t know anything about chemicals, and suggested we ditch it down a county road. (Which definitely isn’t legal.)…does anyone know if this stuff actually is anhydrous, and if not, what could it be? And how are we supposed to dispose of it legally? It seems kinda dangerous to just dump out, or throw away.

Call the Fire Department (non-emergency line only, please) they’re the ones trained to deal w/ potentially hazardous material
