Why do people take illegal drugs when there is perfectly fine alcohol.

Because they don’t care about anything, their body, mind, soul, family, relationships and drugs are worse that alcohol and alcohol is very bad too.

None of them are “solutions” to any problems.

All, if it’s possible to use responsibly (and many illegal drugs are NOT possible to use responsibly, like heroin and crack, crystal meth, etc.) can be enjoyable.
