Yahoo Answers-Advertising Concerns?

I apologize in advance if this is a redundant question, however I am still relatively new to Yahoo answers (just signed up a month or so ago-and find it a great community by the way).

My question is in reference to people who are submitting answers to questions posed that are in no way applicable to the question. These posts appear to be some type of advertisements. I am not sure if this is some glitch or what, because I have not seen this occur until the past several days, and since I have seen about 4 or 5 in a two day period.

Is this an occasion where we, as people who are legitimately using this program to help others by sharing our knowledge, to click on the “report abuse” button? Or is this something that is handled by a system administrator? I just wanted to be sure before I did something that was frowned upon.

When you see one of them just report them as spam.
