Would this essay be considered to be written by a “mentally ill student” who needs to be “helped”?
Question by mint: Would this essay be considered to be written by a “mentally ill student” who needs to be “helped”?
This questino is in response to the one that I posted yesterday concerning harassment that I encountered at university due to an essay that I had written. Two profs ganged up on me, and a couple of problems arose with my friends. Would this essay be considered enough to be considered a “threat”?
I wrote an essay analyses of the Clockwork Orange and the totalitarian gov. in the story. Wrote how the atmosphere in the story involved complete deterioration of the citizens and the authority in the story, and how the hypocrisy of the people, abuse of power, and lack of responsibility towards fellow citizens lead to the prevailing notion that “might is right”. Argued in the closing paragraph that the character eventually realized that he decides to settle down, become good, and then leave behind his juvenile delinquent ways.
After I finished this course, I’ve been labelled mentally ill and ostracized by my classmates. What do you think happened?
I was given various accusations and threats, told that I was “racist”, and this seemed to justify people’s hatred of me. I think that I just happened to piss the wrong professor off, but I don’t know. What do you think?
I did not write anything of political or racial nature, but rather on the nature of deviance.
