Alcohol cannot kill any bacteria. Only antibiotics can do this.

Strong alcohol contains many hydroxyl groups that contribute to acidic nature. Strong alcohol is known to kill some bacteria, but strong alcohol is not the medicine needed for strep throat. Antibiotics are the best form of treatment.
