I’m cute, I’m nice, I’m humble, I’m respectful, I’m slightly timid during interview…but im well educated from a top state university, I dress nicely (maybe a bit on the casual side, but I live in florida!), I’m professional, but I get maybe somewhat noticeably nervous talking to employers… is this why I’m not getting hired?!?!

im not even applying to jobs beyond my level… im applying to jobs that highschoolers apply to for cryin out loud!!!

I’m poor 🙁 i have a dog and a heroine addiction to feed…someone help me out please!!
the heroin part was a joke…but the dog is real!

They can smell your desperation. And, yes, you should be dressed up and polished for interviews! It doesn’t matter where you live.

A nicely pressed suit, a bit of makeup, and some nice shoes can both give a positive first impression AND give you that little boost of confidence you so clearly need.

Remember — it’s hard to be down on yourself when you look like a million bucks!
