Why shouldn’t medical marijuana be legal?
Question by The Big Cheese: Why shouldn’t medical marijuana be legal?
A recent poll showed that about 3/4 of the American public supports legalized MEDICAL marijuana (will post source if asked). Marijuana does have valid medical uses as a pain medication.
Yet why are some people still opposed to medical marijuana? There are several pharmaceutical products on the market, legal everywhere, that are based off of methamphetamines and opiates. They are basically the equivalent of “medical meth” or “medical heroin”, yet noone is complaining about these or fighting their legalization.
So if we approve of these methamphetamine and opiate-based pain killers being on the market, then why not medical marijuana? If anything medical marijuana would be a healthier alternative to these substances.
Thanks
BC: “Name one genius that smokes pot?” Steve Jobs. Done LSD in fact. Our founding fathers also smoked marijuana, even grew hemp. Judging from your stereotypes you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about marijuana outside the filth spewed from D.A.R.E commercials

I personally think the whole “medical” approach is just a little silly. But I do agree it should be legal and it is stupid that it isn’t.
