Why is there a sequel to “Crank”?

Question by Chuck Norris (Mr. Sag): Why is there a sequel to “Crank”?
I mean…it looks EXACTLY the same as the first one. How could the plot possibly advance?

everything is money motivated. if the amount projected to be made exceeds the funds required to make the movie by enough, then they make the movie. think about epic movie, meet the spartans, or any bad movie. the plot goes nowhere and the movie isnt funny, but you still paid to see it, so they still made a profit.
