people get for murder, rape, or child molestion. And you also get sentenced federal instead of state? My sister who is 25 w/5 kids got 20 yrs federal. My father who is 47 w/7 kids got 27 yrs federal. but people who kill and rape or molest get less than that…… WHY?
yes they cook the dope but they dont force nobody to use the drugs. They dont make anybody do anything.

Because meth is a very deadly drug and ‘cooking’ it has the potential to kill, and ruin the lives of more than just one person.

I in no way missed the point of the question. I think you missed the point of my answer, Aviator. Someone who murders or rapes one person has a tangible reason for it, therefore they would benifit benefit more from rehabilitation (in most cases). Someone cooking meth is killing hundreds of people, indirectly, and causing the rape of just as many. Hence the sentences being harsher. I never said I agreed with it, that was not asked in the question, I was simply stating the reasoning behind it.
