why don’t doctors write narcotics?

Question by David K: why don’t doctors write narcotics?
what possible repercussions are there and why is it not up to the patient to decide and the doctor to monitor? I believe narcotics can be very helpful and I wonder doctors don’t write them more often. I think they just have a bad rap. People let the media and the christians and the anti drug people brainwash them and doctors are considered quacks if they just want to help people deal with their pain. TELL ME HOW OXYCONTIN IS WORSE THAN MARLBORO LIGHTS. TELL ME HOW MORPHINE IS WORSE THAN ALCHOHOL ADDICTION. TELL ME HOW LORTAB IS WORSE THAN MCDONALD’S BEEF? CHOOSE YOUR POISONS AMERICA. does this make me liberal? because i hate those fucks. Honestly if you use common sense and you don’t have an addictive personality they aren’t that bad. What if you have a good diet? What if you disagree with your doctor? what if your doctor thinks that you look fine and jumps to conclusions but as soon as you leave you are the only one that has to deal with your pain. i have 24 characters lef

People that smoke cigs don’t have impaired judgment and hallucinate. Also, how is your Dr supposed to know if you have an addictive personality or not? Mcdonald’s beef is not addictive and does not inhibit your motor skills.
