Why do women use the defense “well, men allow it”?
Question by Michael: Why do women use the defense “well, men allow it”?
as a justification for their less admirable behaviors?
I was inspired by another question in where a few women in essence said a woman using her sexuality to punish and manipulate is men’s fault. This got me thinking, while I don’t agree I could only see this point making any sense if you consider men superior to women and are in fact “their keepers”. Do women really believe this or are they simply just trying to avoid blame for their behaviors?
lemonsq – your logic is faulty…plus I NEVER once said it was her fault for allowing it. I will post the actual quote if it will help jog your memory.:
“Personally I accept the reality that women will try to use their vaginas in an advantageous way against me. I, in turn, view them (and treat them) appropriately for that fact. That is when a woman talks about her right to be sexually active, I indulge her to get what I want without any pretense of taking her seriously or consider her for a long term relationship.”
While you might not agree with me, it is wrong to misquote me to further your own agenda…..
Zayeda – you said what you said….I certainly appreciate your effort to backpedal on your quote after thinking it through more, but once you put it out there, it’s out there…..

They are blaming men.
But in this question you are also blaming women.
