Why do the cameramen of recent action movies take crystal meth?

Question by : Why do the cameramen of recent action movies take crystal meth?
It just seems to me like they’re all on meth, because they seem to have really shaky hands when filming the action sequences. This is none more so evident than in films like Transformers 1 and 2, Quantum of Solace and many others.

I get the reason for it though, it’s meant to make it seem like you’re really there, all the thunderous explosions and bombs would cause shakiness. But I’d rather just see the action without thinking to myself “argh what the hell is going on I’ve got a headache and can barely see what’s going on!”

Like the movie ‘Crank’… I believe they named it that for a reason…lol
