Why do people sell Crack when Cocaine costs more?

Question by Mikeford: Why do people sell Crack when Cocaine costs more?
I need a REAL answer. No stupid answers like “Cause they wanna make money” or something dumb. I want an actual answer.

Because Cocaine is way more expensive than crack , so why would someone buy an ounce of cocaine and turn it into a cheaper ounce of crack ? And then sell it all ?

I’m sure an ounce of cocaine costs WAY more than an ounce of crack .

Educated answer , please ?

$ 10 worth of cocaine isn’t enough to do anything. Since you smoke crack, you need a lot less of it, so $ 10 will get a good, albeit fast buzz. It’s easier to get people to spend $ 10 10 times than it is to get them to spend $ 100 once.
Crack also has a more intense, and therefore more addictive “hit” to it, so people get into it faster.

Good question..
Maybe because people want different things? Different places have different ‘demands’.
I agree that Cocaine cost more per ounce/gram.. what have you, but the amount needed to get one high is a lot more. So a gram of cocaine won’t get you as far as a gram of crack.

Did that make sense? Lol.
