Question by BaseballGrrl: Why do people get angry at others who want to change? see details?
Think of the X-Men 3 scenario. A “cure” is created for mutants, and even though mutants are voluntarily lining up to get it, Magneto’s gang attacks. They say they don’t need a cure, so no one should get it. But, there were some who wanted to change.
This is something we see in society as well. Alcoholics and gays come to mind. Both are groups that some people want out and seek help, while the others get mad about it and attack. I don’t understand this concept. If someone is unhappy, why should they be attacked for seeking to change their lives? Do they not have the right to change as much as others have the right to stay?

The people who get angry are insecure and lack confidence. They won’t try anything new; they get stuck in a rut.
The people who change are healthy and are looking to better themselves.
