Why do people become heroin addicts?
Question by Maxene: Why do people become heroin addicts?
Why would someone ever want to hurt themselves and stick a needle in their body daily just for a high? These people torture themselves daily, steal, lie, and completely ruin their lives because of their selfish habit. I think it’s pathetic and have no pity towards these people. I understand that it is an addiction but why would they want to hurt others and themselves just to get high, don’t they understand that these people are really getting affected because of their pitiful decisions? They don’t have a sensor in their brain that clicks on to say STOP this is not the right thing to do your probably going to die from this, it seems surreal to me and the perfect word to call these people are inhumane.
