they are all up in arms about Embryonic stem-cell reaserch from discarded Embryos from fertility clinics that could possibly save millions lives down the road being government funded! they continue to use the phrase, “why should my tax dollars for to funding something I consider unethical?”, well last time I checked my tax dollers went towards envading Iraq in search of WMD’s that werent there and then even more towards a military surge to occupy that country in a war that I never agreed to! and last time i checked my tax dollars payed for the imprisonment, unlawful rendition, and torture of people denied due process and the inalienable rights of all mankind, something i would never ever agree with! so where were our ethics when we are all forced to fund war, illegal wire tapping, etc?

NOTE: I was for Afganistan so I am not anti-war, I just believe it should be the last option after deplomacy! and don’t come at me with this private sector funding crap, they are all about profits and if they were any good in helping further this research then for the past 8 years their would be plenty of funding for this, instead of a back burner decline!
Is not the point of our tax system to fund whats for the good of us all and not the individual?
