Question by Cali Guy: Why didn’t my doctor explain to me the withdrawal symptoms a lot of people have trying to get off of Paxil?
I’m so infuriated about this. Had I known about this I probably would never have started taking it. I feel like a slave to it. How can they say that Paxil is not addicting? It so is! Okay…get this. They say that it can be habit-forming but is not addictive because people don’t rob stores or steal to get it. Of course they don’t! You can just go to the doctor and complain about feeling depressed and get it easily!! You can’t do that with heroin or other addictive substances.

You know, I don’t have an answer but feel the same way. They even tried to switch me to another med and I couldn’t do it. The withdrawls are so bad I see how some people go off the deep end.
