Question by seahag: Why can’t I go to drug rehab for smoking cigarettes?
I tried to get help and think I deserve it but they refused me I think the tobacco companies should have club meds for people like me seeing I fed into their sick habit-parents both smoked in the car-it was the 60’s they didn’t know what they were doing by the time I was 11 I was smoking in the woods with all my friends thinking it was the grown up thing to do so really we didn’t have a clue and they need to pay!

C mon, are you serious? We all know smoking is probably the most addictive habit above all crappy habits, however, it is not mind altering, the physical dependencies of withdrawl are not life threatening like some can be.. ie, heroin, crack . And the underlying reason between WHY PEOPLE SMOKE vs. WHY PEOPLE DO OTHER ADDICTIVE DRUGS, is not a mental thing. I think most people who go to a rehab treatment are not only trying to rehabilitate their habits but rehabilitate their self worth and self esteem. I have never met a cigarette smoker that wishes they were dead for example while trying to kick the habit. Go get nicaderm cq and quit blaming others for you choosing to light up.
