Why are the most brilliant people open minded about drugs?
Question by khamrabian: Why are the most brilliant people open minded about drugs?
Okay, I am not sure how many of you would relate to what I am saying. But I am an elite school graduate and work in investment banking, most of my friends are also doing very well in their careers being in their mid to late 20s, making 6 figures. And what I have realized is that all of us are passionate about work and life, but when we party… we just party so damn hard, that it’s just ridiculous. From coke to marijuana to ecstacy to alchohol, cigarettes… sometimes even mixing some of the drugs. Sure we do not “abuse” these drugs and are not addicted to it, but we do it every couple of weeks! It’s about partying like a rockstar.
Infact all of the top rung people in society like executives, VPs, CEOs etc, mostly have some sort of substance abuse issues (most commonly alchohol, since they can’t afford to get busted for doing illegal drugs).
Anyone else noticed this?
The idiot below “Thomas” who requires evidence, is clearly one of those low IQ fools who do not get to interact with the elite. So he follows his rote procedure of scientific rigor as taught by his professors to include citations of scientists who do bullshit research for the sake of tenure. Go f**k yourself.

spookiestapeover – Ode to forgotten corner stores offering obscure VHS rentals… This film, ‘Spookies’, was rented at a long gone shop called Colson’s in Latham, NY. Because VHS cassettes have easily manipulated erasure heads, we were able to record footage directly onto the official store copy. What footage, you ask? How about someone with a pillowcase over their head for starters…. This is followed by a sequence from the film, Scalps; another Colson’s VHS offering. Incidentally, the lion shown here is seen only at the beginning of the film, never to reappear. Significance? None that I can see. Incredible. The greatest tragedy here is that I recorded over the ending theme- which is haunting and beautiful.
