Why are so many people against the use of marijuana?
Question by Kayla: Why are so many people against the use of marijuana?
Cigarettes are legal. They kill around 400,000 people in the USA each year. Alcohol kills around 80,000 people each year.
Guess how many people have died from marijuana use alone? 0. You cannot find one.
There is nothing in marijuana that causes lung cancer or increases your risk. If you smoke it, it’s the smoke itself. NOT THE MARIJUANA.
If you smoke around 15,000 joints in 20mins you might overdose.
It does NOT kill brain cells. Studies have been done to show that it may actually stimulate your brain cells. Do you know why people think it kills brain cells? Because the DEA did test on monkey’s. What they did was give the monkey’s 30 joints worth of smoke within 5 mins. They did NOT give the monkey’s oxygen while doing this. After three months, the monkey’s showed a great amount of dead brain cells. If you cut the brain off from oxygen of course your brain is going to die slowly.
It has non addictive qualities. Meaning, it is easier to quite then anything else.
97% of the people in help clinics for marijuana are only there because the judge gives you a choice between that or jail.
Hemp is also one of the most useful things in the world. We can make fuel, clothes, paper, etc. It had around 30,000 different uses. The Declaration of Independence was written on HEMP PAPER!
So, please everyone, if you are against it, please tell me why.
Btw, anyone who thinks I’m lying, google “The Union Documentary” and watch it in google videos.
It does not make you lazy. The guy who started CNN smokes a joint EVERYDAY.
It does NOT make you stupid or damage your brain cells.
Most people are smart enough to NOT be high at work.
And you can not get high off hemp. That needs to be legalized.
People who are lazy, smoke weed, and get fired, are gonna be fired for being lazy anyways and get fired. With or without the weed.
All that has to do with the people. And like I said, it’s the SMOKE, not the marijuana.
The marijuana, if say eaten in cannabis form, will not cause you any health problems.
Did you also know that only 1 in every 104 people who use marijuana use cocaine. Other drugs are even less then that. It is not a gate way drug. The black market for selling drugs that mixes the hard and soft drugs together is the gate.

Perhaps because people don’t want to have their vehicle repaired by a “buzzed” mechanic or have their surgeon operating on them while “floating somewhere in space”. I’m not sure about you, but these things would worry me slightly. Weed makes you stupid. You have no ambition to do anything but smoke one joint after another while scratching your a$ $ on the couch. Weed makes you space out and forget things. Would you want your mechanic to “forget” to tighten a screw on your brakes? Or would you want your surgeon operating on the wrong body part or leaving equipment inside you?
Cigarettes, while deadly, don’t make you retarded.
The studies you mention mean nothing to me. I grew up watching friends and family around me smoke themselves silly and end up big, fat nobodies in life. My brother had a genius IQ level in high school, but chose to drop out and smoke pot. He now drives old people to doc appts at the age of 40. Yeah, what a career! I have never witnessed a pot smoker become nothing other than a bag of wasted skin.
