Who uses “flushable” litter?

Question by n: Who uses “flushable” litter?
Picked up a bag of “worlds best” because its free after mail in rebate. Plus, I used a $ 3 coupon so I actually make money for trying it.

And, I picked up a 20 pounds of Cats Pride for $ 5.89 less a $ 1 off coupon which brings it down to 24.45 cents per pound which is lower than my backup litter source, Aldi 14 pounds for $ 3.69. (I use tidycats when I can get it BOGO)

Still haven’t tried the pine stuff. Forgot the last time I was in Lowe’s and I rarely go there.

Any hints regarding flushing it will be welcome. Getting rid of that smell rather than letting it grow is good for me. (I take my own trash to a dumpster and 1-3 weeks worth of cat little for 7 cats don’t smell good.

Hording used cat litter from 3 ferals & 4 kittens gets to be a lot.

I know, some people will say its illegal in CA. (I don’t live in CA) and others will say never to flush it because they don’t have a clue.

But, I cant believe multiple companies would sell “flushable” litter if there was any doubt as to it harming ones plumbing. That’d be a $ million dollar class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

For those that want to try the free litter, go to their website, you will find both the rebate form and the $ 3 coupon.

It was $ 6.99 for 8 pounds at Publix. Since I bought it with other groceries, they cant determine if I used a coupon or not so I expect to get $ 6.99 back rather than $ 3.99 which might be all you got if you ONLY bought the litter.

I used flushable litter once and then ended up having to pay a plumber to clean out my stopped up toilet. And the poopy litter came up into my BATHTUB.

Use wood stove pellets. They’re cheap and they work great. Scoop the poop daily and dump the pans out once a week.
