Who is the hypocrite in this article – Al Gore, or the author?

Question by 1_tuff_chick: Who is the hypocrite in this article – Al Gore, or the author?
This article is absolutely hilarious! Al Gore is SO hypocrical it is laughable, but the author of the article used some interesting wordplay to make the situation sound worse than reality.
In the third paragraph it states “In the past year, Gore’s home burned through213,210 kilowat-hours of electricity, enough to power 232 average Amarican households for a month.”

The mixed statistics leaves your feeling that he is using 232 times as much energy as the rest of us, and only when you stop and think about the statement do you realize that’s not what it is saying.

I want to know –

1. Did you find this article as funny as I did?

2. Who do you think is the real hypocrite – Gore, or the author, and why?

3. Did you find any other “mixed statistics”. etc, in this article

And just general opinions on global warming and enviormentalism.

He’s a hyprocrite in many other ways too! Which proves that even he doesn’t really believe in what’s he’s saying.

Limos are gas guzzlers:

Private jets are not only fuel guzzlers, but it don’t really encourage efficiency and “pooling” does it? (Y/A won’t let me post it–but you can find many Google pictures with Al Gore next to his private jet.)
