got finals coming and i’m taking notes i need to know where methamphetamine is used.

It would help to have a bit more info. Used in what sense? Used by doctors? It can be found in prescription form under the name Desoxyn around the USA. It can be found in its illegal form across the USA as well. Most of it was smuggled into the USA through Mexico in decades past, but now it is becoming more popular and is being made in much higher quantities in labs inside the USA. Some people say it is more popular with the poorer community because it is cheaply and easily made(compared to most other drugs), and is in some respects a poor man’s cocaine.
