I am looking for the number of deaths from drug overdoses for the year 2004. Alcohol, cocaine, oxycodone, heroine, crystal meth, etc.

The local police keep these stats for their local areas, and the Feds keep them for the nation. The feds probably also keep stats for worldwide estimates. Since I’m not sure which you want, it’s hard to say much more. Local newspapers also usually have access to these numbers.
