What’s the word for someone who only uses natural drugs?
Question by Jarobi: What’s the word for someone who only uses natural drugs?
I’m not talking about drugs that come from plants and are then processed into something (e.g. blow, heroin), and I’m of course not talking about drugs manufactured from chemicals (e.g. meth, X, LSD, most legal pharmaceuticals). I’m talking about the drugs that are the pure plant themselves, unadulterated (e.g. marijuana, mushrooms, peyote). If there is a word for someone who doesn’t eat meat, then there should be a word for a natural drug user, at least that’s what I’m thinking.

Well, there’s not.
The word “vegetarian” exists because there are hundreds of thousands of them.
But peyote-eaters are very rare, and even regular mushroom use is pretty uncommon. So there just isn’t a large class of people who go around taking a variety of natural plants with psychoactive properties. And so no one’s really bothered to come with a word to describe that class of people.

The correct term is still “drug addict”. No difference at all between them, except for the “natural drug” user’s smug sense of superiority.
jamie overreacts and manipulates; wants bf to sustain meth addiction – I’m not documenting these moments out of malice, I’m documenting them to keep a digital archive of what actually goes on in my relationship behind closed doo…
