What’s more evil: Nice material rewards (such as owning nice homes, nice cars, nice clothes, jewelry, expensive stereo equipment, nice furniture and rock concerts) or crack cocaine?

Good question.
I think owning nice materials is better. At least you look good while purchasing those things other than being a crack head and losing your teeth!
