whats being done about meth?
Question by Cars 4 Sale: whats being done about meth?
i lost a girlfriend of mine a few years back due to an in the closet meth addiction. i have since taken interest in what is being done about this epidemic. the most vital ingredient in meth is pseudoephedrine and or ephedrine. my question is WHY ARENT THESE INGREDIENTS TAKEN OUT OF COLD MEDICATION???? id rather walk around with a cold then see people ruin there lives. after all they did take the cocaine out of coca cola when they found out the negative effect it was having!
i live in new york where meth really isnt a problem. they say that market of coke and heroin is so good that the dealers of those drugs want to keep the cheaper meth out of the picture. i lived in texas for 2 years and got a taste of what is ravaging the southwest and other rural areas.

You must now have a doctor’s prescription to purchase these meth making medicines. Even with the prescription, the pharmacy will document who is buying the medicine and how often to regulate if drugs are the motive of the purchase.
It has cut down on meth labs by over 40percent w/in the first year. What is your state doing?
