What will happen to this person charged with possesion of crack and 2 other felonies for child endangerment?

Question by jill working girl: What will happen to this person charged with possesion of crack and 2 other felonies for child endangerment?
A woman was charged with possession of crack cocaine and she left her 2 children home alone while going to buy it and was charged with 2 other felonies I believe for child endangerment in the State of Indiana. What kind of penalties do these charges bring? Can she get them lowered to a misdemeanors? She has one previous DUI arrest 2 years ago. Please save the comments and judgments. I am asking about legal matters and I’m not the one I’m writing about either, I am a health care worker at a non-profit.
btw, the amount was less than about 100.00 I believe.
I am a health care worker and we don’t deal with the police and there are HIPPA laws anyway.
0.00 was bought was what was explained to me.

Children are likely to end up with relatives if she has any who can provide proper care for them otherwise foster care. Drug rehab with probation is the most favorable outcome. Luckily, it was for possession and not for possession with intent to sell, that means the amount in possession was a small quantity, she is addicted and considering her fairly clean record; probation is the most likely scenario.

The more serious charges of child endangerment will probably result in the removal of children until she is rehabilitated and under the circumstances, no judge is immediately going to give her custody back. I am sure she will qualify for monitored visits though.
