What is the protocol in hospitals for an adolescent male with signs of sexual abuse?
What do do? Do they contact the authorities, before asking questions, do the nurses/doctors ask them ( what are they?) or do the cops ask them? If they have an older sibling do ask them questions?
Yeah, but what do they ask???

Most hospitals have a Social Worker who is trained to asked the right questions. If the abuse is obvious then Child Protective Service and the Police are informed. It doesn’t matter what the sex is of an adolescent, the same protocol would be used. There are usually clear signs of abuse, and yes the doctor will question the child. The child is taken care of first. If the authorities are called they speak to the parents. If it is deemed that an investigation is necessary then that is what comes next. It is at this time that all family, including siblings would be interviewed.
