What Is a Good Intervention Technique In The Case Of Abusing Crack Cocaine?

One of my best friends is seriously strung out on crack, she is 45 years old, and have kids and grandkids. We would all like to see her clean up her act, before it is to late. She is not in the best of health, besides the drug addiction.

Is there anyone here who has successfully set up an intervention with a loved one or a friend, and it worked? If so, please share.
