What does meth blue do in biodegration?

Question by me!: What does meth blue do in biodegration?
I did a lab yesterday in Biology, and we placed different amounts of milk, yeast, and 2 drops of meth-blue solution in each test-tube, and incubated one set, left one set at room temperature, and one set in cold water (0º)

I’m pretty sure that methylene blue will be stable at room temperature and at the cold temperature.

I would guess that it will also be stable at the high temperature, but I am not so sure.

To collect the data, didn’t you just have to look at the tubes? Was it too hard for you and all your friends to do that or something?
